I.S. Machines

• Semi-automatic machines of one section for small scale production, equipped for manual glass collection but with an automatic forming cycle which starts on the gob cut.
• Manufacturing of automatic 4 ¼'' or 5'' C.D. standard machines that can either be electronic or mechanical, ranging from two to eight sections, with various systems options available. Among these options we have:
• Modular sections with linkage in oil bath and permanent plunger foot. The tubing can be in either stainless steel or copper-plated steel. The mold open-close cylinders and rods are chrome-plated.

• Conveyors for silent-chain or steel mat driven by magnectic pulley.
• The machine base allow cooling wind either through the bottom or through the sides.

Benefits

• The 4 ¼'' C.D. I.S. machines are extremely versatile and recommended for the production of light or medium-sized packaging, such as those for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, one-way beverage, tableware, etc.
• Can produce containers with diameters of approximately 70mm with very good productivity especially when equipped with axial coolin on molds.
• With stainless steel tubing and manifolds and aluminum electro-valve blocks, they minimize drastically the occurrence of iron black specks.
• Equipped with linkage in oil bath, they have a very low wear level, which drastically reduces maintenance costs and section stops for realignment.
• The invert mechanisms supported by roller bearings last longer than those supported by bushings, which, beside the low level of maintenance, lends much softer and precise motion during the parison transfer to the mold.
• All other mechanisms compete with the best in the market in terms of strength, precision in motion and durability.
• They foresee cooling through the bottom or from the sides, enabling the installation on any surface.
• Besides the above mentioned advantages, our 5'' C.D. I.S. machines can produce containers with about 90mm. body diameter.
